It continues. The journey into light Barossa Syrah.
Picked quite early here again, thrown a lot of whole bunch at this wine, basketpressed to seasoned hogsheads.
We're in the green zone here with a very zippy crunchy Syrah. The fruits off some pretty heavy dark black clays on the Valley floor, so we get serious colour from very minimal extraction. It does not taste how it looks though, light plush mouthfeel with crunch and tannin for days. Will suit some time in the cellar too.

This is terrific. Cooler and more elegant in style, the enticing bouquet shows Black Doris plum, bouquet garni, cured meat and rich floral aromas, followed by a finely flowing palate that's succulent and flavoursome. Tannins are fine and grainy, making the wine well structured with a persistent finish.
