2022 OTTO

 Greenock Organic Grenache and Mataro alongside a small portion of Valley Floor Cabernet Sauvignon. All ferments were treated with minimal punchdowns and the Grenache sees a large portion whole bunch.

The resulting wine has bright floral aromatics from the Grenache whole bunch ferment, met with some gnarl and crunch from the Mataro, and the small Cabernet component provides great lift and roundness to the wine.

It's delightfully fruited and inviting on the nose, showing dark plum, thyme, game and nutmeg aromas, followed by a medium-full-bodied palate offering juicy fruit flavours with rounded mouthfeel and supple tannins. Splendidly harmonious with lovely fruit purity and spicy nuances, making it immediately appealing.
